Braybrooke’s Defibrillator
is located at the Village Hall. If it is needed, please call 999 – Ambulance – first. They will give you the access code and help you deal with the emergency until an ambulance or first responder reaches you.
Volunteer Emergency Telephone System (VETS)
is there to summon help if you cannot leave an emergency situation.
Call 01858 322151 to summon a local volunteer to help you for example by fetching the defibrillator.
VETS is a community-run system. Upon dialling the number, a group of volunteers are contacted in an attempt to summon help locally. This is likely to be quicker than waiting for an ambulance or first responder. But always call 999 first in emergency – they should be able to call the VETS number for you if necessary.
